Prior to submitting or publishing work with the Journal of Applied Learning & Teaching (JALT), authors, researchers, and contributors acknowledge and agree that they must not do, or omit to do, anything which results in a claim by any person for:
- any Intellectual Property Right infringement;
- defamation;
- fraud, corruption or bribery;
- a breach of the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (currently available here: https://publicationethics.org/membership/code-of-conduct); or
- a breach of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018 (as many be updated from time to time) - the current version is found here: https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/about-us/publications/australian-code-responsible-conduct-research-2018.
In addition, authors, researchers, and contributors must confirm that they have received appropriate training and education from their affiliated institution(s) that promotes and supports responsible research conduct.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in rejection, retraction, or other actions in accordance with JALT's editorial and ethical policies.
